TOOTH BLEACHING
In our clinic two types of tooth whitening (bleaching) are provided; in office or at home.Of course, teeth whitening should always be provided after scaling, so that the optimum result can be achieved.
The first method, In-Office Whitening, involves the carefully controlled use of a relatively high-concentration peroxide gel (35-37%), applied to the teeth by the dentist. Generally, the peroxide is applied to the teeth for two 15 to 20 minute intervals that add up to an hour (at most).
Bleaching can cause a temporary increase in sensitivity that lasts no longer than a day or two. Those with particularly stubborn staining may be advised to return for one or more additional bleaching sessions, or may be asked to continue with a home-use whitening system. During this treatment an ultraviolet lamp could be applied as well, to increase the whitening result.The second method, Professionally Dispensed Take-Home Whitening Kits, use the custom-made bleaching trays moulded to the patient’s teeth.
The whitening gels we use in our clinic are based on hydrogen carbamide concentration of 15%, and are used for 15 days at home. Most dentists believe professionally dispensed take-home whitening kits are a better option since the bleaching results last over the long haul.
To make a long lasting bleaching results, it is necessary to reduce some habits such as smoking and drinking red wine and coffee. After bleaching, tooth necks can be sensitive to cold, so it is recommended to brush your teeth with toothpaste for sensitive teeth for few weeks.
Teeth whitening in dental office takes about half an hour and at home a few days.
Bleaching results last for about a year.
CROWNS AND VENEERS
Another procedure that helps to improve the shape and colour of teeth, especially the front ones, involves the use of ceramic veneers. The impression of the dental arches and teeth models are used in the laboratory to produce precision ceramic veneers that are simply cemented onto the tooth with specialist adhesive.
Veneers are appropriate to use on teeth that needs to be masked for a variety of reasons including trauma, previous root canal treatment, to change of colour of the crown …). Now, thanks to the development of metal-free ceramic, with its incredible strength and beautiful natural look, it is no longer necessary to use metal-ceramic products.
New materials and extremely translucent and transparent ceramics used in the preparation of
veneers give them completely natural look.

PROCEDURE LENGTH
To successfully complete this treatment, one visit to our clinic is required. After the teeth are grinded, and the impression is taken, dental laboratory produces crowns and veneers. On the last day, they are fixed in. It takes 2-4 days on average to successfully complete this procedure(s).

CONSCIOUS SEDATION
To ease your pain during the treatment, conscious sedation can be used. Conscious sedation, also known as “Laughing gas”, is the most common choice for sedation of patients with mild to moderate anxiety or fear of dental treatment.
The gas takes effect within a few minutes and within a short period, the effect disappears and has no side effects, making this method safe for use in daily practice. VISODENT offers conscious sedation as a part of your treatment, at a price of 60€.
AFTERCARE
At GoDENTAL, our care for you, our patient, extends beyond your visit to our clinic. Aftercare is equally important as the procedures performed at our clinic. Therefore, after the procedure, you will receive detailed instructions on which medication to use after the procedure and how to maintain the cemented restorations in order to make your recovery short and effective. The recovery period is short, between 1 and 3 days.
